Ride with Honor. Serve with Pride.

We are proud to announce the official formation of the VFW Post 2953 Rider Group. Our charter has been received, and we are now open and actively accepting applications for membership. Whether you're a veteran who lives to ride or a rider who proudly served, this is your group. The VFW Post 2953 Rider Group was founded on the same principles that define our post - brotherhood, patriotism, and a commitment to serving those who have served.

Who Can Join?

Membership in the VFW Post 2953 Rider Group is open to all current VFW Post and Auxiliary members in good standing who are motorcycle enthusiasts. You must have a motorcycle endorsement or permisson, 500cc or larger motorcycle or trike, and proof of insurance. If you're not yet a VFW member but meet eligibility requirements, we encourage you to join the post or auxiliary and the rider group together.

Meeting Nights

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held at the Post 2953 home. Come ready to connect with fellow veterans, plan upcoming rides, discuss group business, and make a difference in our community.

What We're About

The VFW Post 2953 Rider Group is more than a motorcycle club - we are veterans supporting veterans. Our mission includes:

  • Organizing rides that raise awareness and funds for veteran causes
  • Participating in honor rides, memorial events, and patriotic ceremonies
  • Supporting Post 2953's ongoing community service efforts
  • Building camaraderie among veteran riders in our area

How to Apply

Membership applications are available at the Post during regular business hours and at any of our Monday night meetings. Stop in, pick up an application, and talk to one of our founding members about what the group means to us.
