Welcome to our VFW Post

Our current mission is to transform our Post into a welcoming veteran centered environment where all members and guests feel at home and included. We carry no requirements for our hospitality other than your commitment to those men and women that have served or currently are serving this great nation.

We have made many of changes to our facilities and there are many more to come with your support. And we are always open to new membership. New faces bring new ideas. If you are not a member, we are open to the public every Saturday from 12 PM until 7 PM. Please stop by and check us out.

Services & Activities

Canteen

Our canteen provides us with a gather place to enjoy each other's company and fellowship, a starting point for the activiites of the day, or a finishing location to let off steam after a busy day.

Pool League

We currently host one pool league team (Tuesday 8 Ball) but we are open to additional teams and night.

Poker

We host several different games throughout the month. All games are licensed though the Indiana Charity Gaming Commission and legal and fair.

Japanese Wooden Sword Training

Every Tuesday at 6 PM. We offer martial art training for Japanese Sword. This class is open to the public.

Medical Equipment

We welcome donations of medical equipment like wheelchairs, shower chairs, etc in good working order. We then donate thse items back to the community.

Community Involvement

We strive to be active in our community. Not only helping veterans but our children and other areas as need arises to promote a thriving community for our veterans to live.

Canteen Hours

  • Tuesday - 2 PM until 7 PM
  • Wednesday - 2 PM until 7 PM
  • Thursday - 2 PM until 7 PM
  • Friday - 2 PM until 7 PM
  • Saturday - 12 PM until 7 PM
    • All closing times are subject to business. If we have patrons, we will stay open; however, we reserve the right to close if the crowd isn't big enough to pay our expenses to be open.

Business Meetings

  • Auxiliary Meeting - 2nd Wednesday of the month - 6 PM
  • Post Meeting - 3rd Wednesday of the month - 6 PM
